Today's question: What ally do I need to cultivate a better relationship with?

Look at the waves! The rising and falling of feelings, the crash of emotions against one another - creating complexity and threatening chaos. And look at the King, settled on their throne, navigating those swells and rapids while maintaining proper and careful boundaries. Those swells and waves and rapids still exist, and it's right that they do so. But our King, they hold a place of calm and of...not ease, exactly, but confidence. They'll dip the cup into the water, taking enough to nourish. But they don't dive in to be overwhelmed.

The point isn't to deny the rapids. The point is to navigate them. Take in what you can manage, and let the rest fall away for now. And remember, too, that you need not fill your cup to overflowing.
